SERRATED WIND TURBINE (TÜBERKÜLLÜ RÜZGAR TÜRBİNİ)

Wind turbines are tools that transform the kinetic energy of the moving air first into mechanical energy and then into electrical energy. Wind turbines are continuously developed in accordance with the environment and living things in order to increase energy efficiency. One of the developed wing designs is wind turbines designed with the inspiration of humpback whale fin. Thanks to this wing profile, the low velocity wind separates the wind flow of the channels and accelerates the air movement along the arranged surface of the wing, as the low velocity wind hits the bumpy (tubercle) channels in front of the wing. It ensures that more wind is caught. Thus, it can operate with higher energy efficiency than conventional wings and the noise pollution that occurs in classical wings can also be significantly reduced.
